FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DO I BOOK MY CHARTER?
You can book your charter right on our website. We require a $250 deposit to hold your reservation. We will charge the remainder the day of the charter or in accordance with our cancellation policy.
HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN COME ON MY CHARTER?
We limit groups to 6 so each person can get the personalized service we promise. We want to give each person the chance to catch fish without being too crowded.
DO I NEED TO BRING BAIT?
EBtide provides the tackle and rods for the different fishing options. There is an extra charge for (live) bait.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
You can cancel your reservation 72 hours before your scheduled departure time without penalty, by calling or emailing Capt Black at 561-309-9257 / firstname.lastname@example.org. Customers canceling inside of 72 hours will be charged 100% of the charter deposit. The captain will cancel a charter only if the weather conditions pose a concern for safety. If we cancel a trip there is no charge and any deposits or other charges will be refunded to the credit card on record. If there are weather concerns, the captain will call you the night before.
DO I NEED TO BRING FOOD?
All of our charters will include snacks, chips, water, and other soft drinks. If you have special dietary restrictions, you may bring a small cooler aboard. Please ensure we know about any allergies at the time of booking.
CAN I BRING ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES?
We want everyone to have a good time. You are welcome to bring a cooler with your favorite beer, wine, or other beverages. If the captain determines that it's becoming unsafe, he reserves the right to cancel the charter and head back to the dock. Captain's word is law aboard the EBtide.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS FISHING?
We love family fishing and getting little anglers their first big catch. We allow children of all ages. You must provide a life jacket for kids under 6 years of age.
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO BRING?
Sweatshirt or jacket for cooler weather
White-soled deck shoes or sneakers
A cooler to take your catch with you*
SHOULD I TIP THE CREW?
It is customary to tip the captain and crew if you are satisfied with your experience.
CAN I GET MY FISH MOUNTED?
We are proud to be part of the Gray Taxidermy Team and can take care of getting your fish mounted and sent directly to your home. There is an extra charge for taxidermy services and may be paid at the time of charter. Making memories that will last a lifetime!
WILL I CATCH FISH?
While we can't guarantee that you will catch fish, Captain Black and his crew are well versed in fishing the area.
ARE CHARTER TIMES FLEXIBLE?
Yes, we can generally work with your schedule. Please discuss with the captain at the time of booking.
